Since 2018 we have been lovingly restoring The Green, an elegant Regency house near Bradford-on-Avon with the aim of opening the sort of guest house that we would like to stay in. Imagine yourself as a private guest in a country house in the nineteenth century but with the modern comforts and the professionalism of your favourite place to stay.

With only five bedrooms, we will offer a peaceful stay in rooms furnished with antiques and original artwork, a delicious a la carte breakfast made from local produce, and the freedom to relax with a book in our drawing room or stroll around our beautiful 6.5 acres of garden and woodland.

Our location is perfect for visiting the many local National Trust properties and gardens, a day trip by car or train into the Georgian city of Bath, or a stroll round its beautiful smaller neighbour the historical town of Bradford-on-Avon which sits on the River Avon and the Kennet & Avon Canal.

Thursday 10th and Friday 11th July

Even though we are not quite ready to open for accommodation, we are celebrating the completion of the ground floor with a few special events. We have invited MasterChef Champion of Champions, Ping Coombes and her Makan Supper Club back to THE GREEN for a second event.
