By car

1. Exit M4 at Junction 17 and bypass Chippenham on the A350
2. Turn right on to the A4 to Corsham
3. In Corsham, turn left on to the B3109 through Bradford on Avon.
4. After Bradford-on-Avon, continue on the B3109 until you get to the cross roads and traffic lights with a wooden cross on the right.
5. Turn left at the traffic lights.
6. After 0.2 miles Look for the “40” speed limit sign and The Green is on your left.
1. Take the M3/A303 past Stonehenge and turn right onto the A36 through Warminster.
2. At Beckington Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A361 eastbound towards Trowbridge.
3. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto the B3109 (Bradford Road).
4. At the village of Wingfield turn right at the crossroads and traffic lights.
5. After 0.2 miles Look for the “40” speed limit sign and The Green is on your left.
1. Leave Bath on the A36 Warminster Road via Brassknocker Hill heading southeast.
2. Turn left onto the A366 through Farleigh Hungerford.
3. At the village of Wingfield go straight on at the crossroads and traffic lights with a wooden cross on the left.
4. After 0.2 miles Look for the “40” speed limit sign and The Green is on your left.
(If coming from the East of Bath, it may be preferred to come through Bradford on Avon as above)
1. Leave Frome heading north on the A362 towards Radstock/Trowbridge.
2. At Beckington Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A361 eastbound towards Trowbridge.

1. Head west out of Trowbridge on the A363 towards Wingfield and Radstock.
2. As you enter the village of Wingfield, look for the flashing speed limit sign and The Green is on the right.

By air, rail or bus

The nearest airports are Southampton, Bristol and London Heathrow, all of which have good road and public transport connections to The Green
Trowbridge station is 10 minutes drive away. It has range of direct services including Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Salisbury, Bruton and Swindon. Connections at Bath, Swindon or Westbury make it easy to reach us from London Paddington, Oxford and the West of England with only one change of train. Heathrow and Gatwick Airports can be reached in 2.5 and 3 hours respectively with two changes. There is a taxi rank at the station but it is recommended to book in advance.
Wingfield has around ten bus departures per day, some of which from a stop by The Green’s front gate. Route 94 operates five services per day between Bath and Trowbridge via Wingfield. Route 96 has four weekday-only services per day serving Trowbridge and Bradford-on-Avon. Route X69 serves Frome and Bradford-on-Avon. We suggest to look on line to assess the best route and time.
