Join Dan for an evening celebrating the fresh flavours of the season at here at The Green. This specially curated 7-course tasting menu showcases the very best ingredients spring has to offer, with dishes designed to surprise, delight and be savoured slowly.
Set in the relaxed surroundings of The Green, it’s the perfect setting for an intimate evening of exceptional food. The Yuzu team will be there throughout the night, pouring carefully selected wines and drinks to complement each course.
Whether you’re planning a date night, gathering with friends, or simply treating yourself to something special, this Tastes of Spring experience promises a memorable evening around the table.

Seasonal events
Being surrounded by stunning houses and gardens, theatres and music venues there is always something to see or do locally. Here are a few of the established events that you may wish to factor into your plans.
Badminton Horse Trials (May)
Tickets on sale from January. A world renown 5 star equestrian competition held on the Badminton Estate, Gloucestershire.
Royal Bath and West Show (May)
Over 3 days. Somerset’s biggest show running for over 160 years with 240 acres of farm animals, traders, food and entertainment associated with the agricultural industry.
Iford Jazz Festival (June)
Iford Manor offers a fabulous setting for a great programme of jazz music. Book early as tickets sell out fast each year.
Bradford-on-Avon Live Music Festival (May/June)
A 3 day event of ticketed events and free concerts held in a local venues. With bands from a variety of musical genres.
The Rode Comedy Festival (end of August)
Run by comedian Jarred Christmas this teeny tiny 5-night festival attracts the big names in comedy. Tickets go on sale in May and tend to sell out quickly.
IF Opera (August)
The celebrated IF Opera has announced that their 2026 programme will again be performed just across the road from us at Church Farm Wingfield along with high quality dining in their “Cowshed” restaurant. We are the closest accommodation to the venue so why not complement your operatic experience with an indulgent stay at The Green. Our fantastic local Opera Company has a reputation for artistic excellence and a focus on supporting emerging artists and enriching the local community.
Bradford-on-Avon Walking Festival (September)
The event features a variety of guided walks for different abilities exploring different aspects of the local area, including historical and natural features. The festival takes place usually in September and is held over one weekend.
Shepton Mallet Flea (six events per year)
Held at the Royal Bath and West Showground. This huge Flea Market is put on about 6 times a year and has hundreds of stands to browse or buy. Arrive early to beat the dealers.
The Bath Christmas Market
The fantastic Bath Christmas Market is held from the end of November into the second week in December every year. It’s located in the centre of the city next to the Abbey. With over a hundred wooden chalets selling Christmas gifts, food and drinks, it’s a fabulous day out. Stay in peace and quiet at The Green and travel into Bath on the train from Bradford-on-Avon (or drive to the Park&Ride) and avoid the traffic queues.
