Tailored Stays

The Green is the perfect setting for an intimate private family gathering or a special reunion of old friends, book all five bedrooms (up to ten guests) for a minimum of two nights and we can offer a bespoke country house party designed around your preferences.  What would your idyllic country weekend look like? Here is an example of what we could curate especially for you….

Day one:

Arrive early afternoon to a warm welcome, afternoon tea and cake in the drawing room followed by a wander through the gardens - just settle in and relax. In the evening join your guests in the drawing room for cocktails while your chosen private chef prepares a welcome supper. Head off to bed for a relaxing night’s sleep in your unique bed chamber.

Day two:

Start the day with our homemade granola or The Green’s traditional breakfast of Wiltshire ham to set you up for a culinary workshop of your choosing, whether that’s learning to prepare your own sushi, making the most of seasonal foraged food, or a Malaysian street food masterclass. Round up the day with an exquisitely prepared Chef’s Table five-course meal for your party (scroll down to meet our chefs). 

Day three:

How about a day outdoors? - clay pigeon shooting, a tour of the stunning Iford Manor gardens, or take the train into Bath and enjoy all this heritage city has to offer including fantastic shopping and the breathtaking architecture and the Roman Baths.

Whatever you choose for your tailored stay, we will work with you to make it a treasured memory. We are flexible and can arrange all the details including transport or just help you plan the basics and leave you to your own devices.
