Days Out

The Green is surrounded by a wide range of top quality attractions and dining options.  The nearby beautiful historic town of Bradford-on-Avon and its river and canal offers a relaxing day out.  The world-famous city of Bath is easy to get to by car or train and we are on the route between London and The Newt in Somerset.  The nearby villages of Lacock and Castle Combe have been used for many well-known movies. Our closest favourite places to visit include the idyllic Iford Manor, Great Chalfield Manor, Farleigh Castle, the fifteenth century Tithe Barn in Bradford-on-Avon, and the Roman Baths in Bath and Stonehenge are on everyone’s bucket list.
